Welding is one of the key technologies in the metal, construction, and automotive industries. 1. Protective Clothing

- steel-toe boots for foot protection.
5. Respiratory Protection
Welding produces toxic fumes and gases. Welders should use:
- masks with dust filters,
- ventilation and local exhaust systems to eliminate harmful substances from the air.
6. Welding Shields and Screens
The workplace should be equipped with special protective curtains and screens that:
- limit the spread of UV radiation,
- protect bystanders from sparks and splashes.
7. First Aid Kit
A well-stocked first aid kit must be available at the welding station, containing:
- burn dressings,
- eye-washing solutions,
- basic bandaging materials.

Proper clothing, masks, gloves, and ventilation systems minimize the risk of accidents and health problems.
